New Year's Resolution Continued
So today at my parents' home (they live 5 minutes away) I discovered my grandmother's jewelry box! Yay! My mom said I could have it. (Becky, if you want this though we can discuss ... don't worry)
It came filled with costume jewellry. Mostly clip on earrings. Actually, it kind of made me miss Nana. It was cool. There were some name tags that said "Dotty Rimes" which made me laugh. And then my little munchkin made me laugh harder.
Matt discovered a love of jewelry. How many two year old boys would voluntarily wear clip on earrings? I don't know.
But seriously. How adorable does it get???
Oh wait - it does get funnier!
I do hold full responsibility if my son grows up and decides to wear women's clothing and jewelry.

This is too funny. It seems my mother's genes flew right over me to you and now your crazy two year old. I'm sure Nana is laughing hard in heaven tonight at the antics of her grandchildren.
mom (aka Kate, grandma to Matty)
OMG! Absolutely, positively hilarious and adorable!
Okay, now my jewelry box looks like a shoebox compared to that life size thing, it's gorgeous! That is SO going to help you get started on your resolution!
Matty looks especially lovely in the green ones!
The box is all yours - as long as you promise to be princess Laural once in a while with Kyla and Paige and pull out the jewelry with them!
Thanks for the morning coffee! I love having you close by.
What if he goes out when he's 16 and gets his ears pierced in unique places like cartilage? Are you taking responsibility for that as well? ;)
I think Matt looks absolutely fabulous! But what did Mike think? LOL
Gorgeous jewelery box Laural! Wow! I've never seen one like that, a true treasure!
What a special thing to have...you don't see jewellery boxes like that anymore. Is that where you found the necklace you're wearing today? Tres cool!
That is so funny ! My little guy wears jewelry also, I think it's cute (as long as they don't wear it when they're older:)
The jewelry box is awesome !

OMIGOSH! I can't take that! That is too funny! (And, look how big he's getting!!!) And, hmmm...you can totally blackmail him with this when he's older!
Wonderful! I just LOVE it!! I can see my Happy Boy doing the same one day.
I actually aquired a much smaller jewelry box from my great grandmother about 15 years ago, and I had just as much fun! Enjoy!
