It's not that I don't enjoy my kids (or Disney) but to write it all out isn't what I want to be doing.
But, I think I'm trying to step away from writing like that without it seeming that I don't like my kids.
I think i just have to go with it!Laural Dawnhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08459584652802529868noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-15924860.post-26730134686784671622010-03-02T03:45:13.716-08:002010-03-02T03:45:13.716-08:00I'm a long-time lurker (and non-blogger, so so...I'm a long-time lurker (and non-blogger, so sorry for the seemingly 'anonymous' comment). Your writing has improved so, so much over the last little while. It is far more interesting when you don't write about Disney and mundane kid things... That stuff feels forced and doesn't seem like the real "you." Your Julie Powell journey was just incredible to read about and very inspiring. I think your strength as a writer is not in the "day to day" but in the bigger picture/reflections on life. In terms of ideas, well... Julie Powell had Julia and then the butcher. I think you need to find your "Julia" and your "butcher."Raenoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-15924860.post-88600871509164630412010-03-01T13:26:12.779-08:002010-03-01T13:26:12.779-08:00@SciFi Dad...
